I don't know but since you mention it, there are, or can be; differences in
shaft length, differences in the way a golfer sets up with a given club,
differences in how the guy swings each club. There's a pretty long list, any
of which can affect lie angle. I don't know of a single clubmaker who can
adjust for each and every conceivable difference.

Further, consider this - and this is something I've mentioned many times;
assuming we do the dynamic lie angle adjustment. Isn't it always on a lie
board of some description? And isn't the lie board always level? And doesn't
the golfer always hit shots from the level surface of the level lie board?
The answer to all is "yes." So, have you ever played any golf course where
every lie is 90/180 anywhere? Nope. And neither have I. Yet the custom
clubfitter's "bible" says that dynamic lie testing is the best way to go. I
certainly agree - we must start somewhere. However, I have yet to find a
course where all lies are flat and square.

We do the best we can. What else can we do?
