Bobby,

Put a small dab of epoxy on the shaft. Place the ferrule over the end of the shaft and push it down until it stops. Turn the shaft upside down, placing the ferrule on the bench or hard surface. Push down on the shaft until the bottom of the ferrule is even with the end of the shaft.  Apply 3 or 4 seconds of heat on the ferrule, with a heat gun, and use the head to push the ferrule on to the point where the shaft bottoms out in the hosel.

The comment from Frank about Maltby's book is right on the money. If you have to ask this question you need to do more reading.

Yes, I am referring to the ferrule. Excuse me. This really isn't that tough of a thing to pull off. With a little help from acquintances I should be able to do it!

This is the first time I am reshfting a club. I would like to know how and
when to install the hosel. I am putting a .350 Aldila One shaft into a 340cc
Tsunami head. Before I insert the shaft with epoxy on it, should I put the
hosel a bit higher on the shaft and insert the shaft into the head? Then
slide the hosel with a little epoxy on it snugly on top of the neck? And
what size hosel should I get? .350? Thank you.

Bobby, I think you are talking about the ferrule. I would do a bit more reading, maybe one of Maltby's manuals, before assembling any clubs.
