Jim,
They are taper tip, and I believe that they have a hickory dowel in the tip/hosel.
Not sure of the head weights, but if you ream for parallel, you have to do a bit of
weight adjustment since they're set up for constant weight shafts.

Good Luck,
Pat Kelley

Have any of you Shoptalkers had any experience with changing shafts in Titleist Forged 690CB irons?
Are the shafts parallel or tapered?  The set I have been asked to change shafts in has Dynamic Gold S300 shafts, original from the factory.  The customer wants them to be a total of 1" over standard length.  The clubs are already 1/2" over standard.  He thinks that 1/2" extensions would make them play "funky".  I don't think so, but as a wise old clubmaker once said, "Give the customer what he wants."

The Titleist website has off-the-rack specifications, but they don't include shaft specifications, head weights, etc.  Any help anyone can give me will be appreciated.
