I've abraded the tips of 12 of the iron shafts so far without any problems.
Durability of the chrome plating appears to be "normal" for half a season of
wear as well.

Has anyone found the chrome plating to be inferior as compared to the
original Balistik's? The new ones I've used have tended to flake the chrome
off when abrading the tip on a belt sander. I don't think they're anywhere
near the quality of the originals.
