There is big difference in music and golf clubs. We are not even talking about the same thing. Ripping off music if used for the purpose of making money is a crime. Having had a business for ten years that produced decorative items for the country craft market we found out that copy right laws are too open ended to protect the manufacture. We always prided ourselves on our ability to design and produce five unique items a month or which at least three were big sellers. Problem being however is that we could not prevent anyone from copying our designs. Two months from the time our product hit the market it was being reproduced in China and being sold in the discount stores in America.

Recording music for my own personal pleasure is not a violating the law.

Building a club from components that are ready available on the market is not duplicating someone else's product. Even if you are selling it to someone else.

What has this got to do with club making? Nothing, right?
