The "blade" style grip remover (with the "t" handle) from Golfsmith isn't all that expensive but failing that you might try this. Get a hacksaw blade. Put a little tape around one end so you have something to hold on to. Pry open the end (the small side down the shaft, excuse me, don't mean to be insulting, it's late) and add solvent. Start rotating the blade in the direction of the dull side of the blade. Keep adding solvent and work the blade downward towards the butt. Keep adding solvent while rotating with downward pressure. Eventually you should be able to work the grip free. If this club is relatively new, age wise, you should be able to save it with a minimum of fuss. A little messy but it beats trying to blow it off with compressed air unless you're adept at it & lucky. Luck to you.
