Just a guess here, but is he under 5' 8", over say 180 lbs, flat swing plane, somewhat inflexible and finishes with his feet on either side of the target line?

My boss wants me to build him a set of clubs. He is 62 years old. His
handicap is in the mid 20's.  He believes his swing speeds is in the
80's. His present shafts are senior flex.
He has a bad habit when he swings his club that he feels he can't
correct or he doesn't have time, at this late stage of his life, to
correct. When using his driver the ball goes way to the left. He has
learned to compensate by changing his address position. If the target
is at 12 O'clock in order to hit the ball straight he has to stand at
4 O'clock. According to Ralph Maltby's "Golf Club Design, Fitting,
Alteration & Repair," his club path is an "inside out path" (face
closed to path). He claims the ball trajectory is OK.
