Your discussion was what prompted my thoughts on MOI about the putter c.g. I understand what you said about the putter c.g. but it seems to me that another thing that is happening is that they are GREATLY increasing the MOI of the putter about its c.g. and this has the effect of slowing down the rotation of the putter about its own c.g. to better 'sync' with the pendular motion of the arms. Think of it as matching oscillator frequencies to allow phase matching. You achieve resonance and the motion becomes effortless.
Interesting theory, that makes a lot of sense. Might have something to it. Though I think it's more likely what I had posted.
(I know something of their golfer testing results, that I'm pretty sure I shouldn't post publicly. But that's what leads me to this conclusion.)
