Sounds right to me!
I did the math independently and came up with 0.5 grams. Close enough for jazz.

I checked them out at my local Golfsmith store today, I asked my salesman if they had any feedback on them, and he said they didn't, just got them 2 days ago and haven't sold one yet.
I mentioned that I didn't think the aluminum sleeve would amount to much in weight savings and that if they were interested in taking weight out of that area and redistributing it lower than why didn't they just shorten the hosel a 1/4 or a 1/2 an inch.
Lord knows they have plenty of hosel to spare.
Well, he said that they come with a big warning label that says that any attempt to reshaft or repair it will void the warranty, that they want to make sure that they get their share of the reshaft business.
Thankfully Ping has done away with the plastic hosel on their new driver.
I wonder how this baby will reshaft.
Will the shaft come out with the sleeve?
Probably not.
Will the sleeve to head bond be compromised with heat?
Probably, my guess is that's another reason for the warranty issue.
