Rick,

If you are more a swinger than a hitter, try the FL50 club at 47". If your BOM is 195 or 196 grams (I've had several at 194), swingweight with a 46 gram grip will be about D8. At 46" club length, it'll be about D2. I (and many seniors, or those less flexible) seem to have a better feel for the head position with something over D5. Once I figured out the timing to get the longer club square at impact, and since I can feel the head position in the downswing better a higher swingweight, I can repeat the swing better. If you have an aggressive hitter type swing, the FL50 might be a bit soft for you.

Yes, I'm interested in reports anyone has on any shafts, whether I've tried them or not.

Bernie,

Since I have two FL-50's, I'll put the BOM on one and the Bangenstein on the other and hope that I see some goo results.  I also have a few Cydonia's here so I will also try the HL-40 with one.  Too bad about the CF310 I have 3 of them.  But..... they could be just perfect for my swing:-) so I might as well give them a go too.  I will get back to you on this if you are interested.

I too was a big SRV II fan. I read a post from Danny Neu (I like the sound of it better than Dan Neubecker - if you are reading Dan, this was written with smiles) a while back about his success with the SRV II and the Aldila One which worked out very well for me too, until I put a YS-6 into a SRV II and it stayed my number 1 for almost an entire year.

Right now I can't see anything beating out my Wishon 915CFE 420cc and NV 55S but I am willing to try.  Sure wish the NV55's weren't $90 and that the profiling database was up and running so I could find a comparable shaft to it at a cheaper price.
