I find the date format for the event list (left hand bar) confusing. When I have many entries it is easier to scan them quickly if a simple date format is used that lines up in neat columns. I tried changing the date_fmt entry in my locales file to correct this (I am using Ubuntu 10.04) but it had no effect, although the change was visible in Ubuntu.
