Hello,

Just to be clear, the event date is internationalized, and so the
translators select a format that's appropriate to their locale.

Of course, that doesn't mean that the event formatting is to everyone's
liking.  I've added a ticket for this since this has stirred up enough
interest: http://trac.yorba.org/ticket/2342
