Emm, it were be a big trouble to re-install my all system... Rebooting does not help.
Now, I'll self search a solution.

given everything you've said, I suspect that something is wrong with the DBus configuration on your system. When Shotwell starts up, it uses a library called libunique to determine if another instance is already running. libunique in turn uses DBus. Something is going wrong with this mechanism on your system, so when you run Shotwell it thinks another instance is running and immediately exits.

First, most obviously, I assume you've tried rebooting your system - yes?

If a reboot doesn't work, I'd recommend backing up your files and reinstalling Ubuntu 10.10. That will take a couple of hours, but it will almost certainly solve your problem. Otherwise you could try searching the Web for [Unique-DBus-WARNING] to see if you can find a fix from others who've seen this problem. I strongly suspect that the trouble you're seeing is unrelated to Shotwell itself.

            And I see, that shotwell is using about a 600 MB of RAM,
            and between
            70-80 percent of CPU.
            This error occures after 10 - 20 minutes after sending a
            command to a
            terminal.
            I have only security updates enabled.
