AFAIK you can only rotate losslessy a jpeg by 90 degrees steps.
The 'straighten' in f-spot is a completely different beast, like the
'rotate' in GIMP, that requires a new compression of the file, hence a
'lossy' transformation.

I guessed it might be, although I wasn't sure. I can live with that though.
