After issuing ../Src/obj_setup.sh from the Obj directory there will be no
arch.make, indeed. The command ../Src/obj_setup.sh just sets up the
necessary files for the compilation, but the arch.make is provided by the
user, unless the user types ../Src/configure. There is no need to
re-download the whole package, it is enough to follow - strictly - the steps
I have written in my previous email. Trust me, I've been through it many
many times, in many different places. :) If you follow the first five steps
I specify below **by the letter**, I am sure it will start the compilation
problem without the problem of not finding an arch.make. The sixth step is
optional.

To make it even easier, let's suppose that your arch.make is in your home
directory (we'll call it /home/akbar/arch.make) and that siesta is in
/home/akbar/siesta3.0-rc2. Just follow the steps replacing /home/akbar and
/home/akbar/siesta3.0-rc2 by whatever is appropriate and do not use the
double quotes:

1) From whichever directory you are, type "cd /home/akbar/siesta3.0-rc2/Obj"
2) Type "../Src/obj_setup.sh"
3) Type "cp /home/akbar/arch.make ."
4) Make sure that arch.make is in Obj by typing "ls arch.make". if some
error appears, then make sure you can copy arch.make to the directory.
5) Type "make"
6) Watch siesta be compiled in awe :)

Of course, if your arch.make is in /whichever/directory just replace
/home/akbar by /whichever/directory , and so on.
