Well you could try a bit larger system, yet I think you may need to adapt
your arch.make file.
You could also check that linking has been done correctly (in case you are
not linking statically), you can do:
ldd siesta
and check the libraries are correct.

I cannot assist you anymore as the compiler you are using is "very" old.
Contact your system administrator or try installing with
gnu/openblas/scalapack/netcdf.
