This is sorta off-topic, but it does have to do with Linux somewhat... I'm
going to be buying a new system sometime soon, and I wanted to make sure
that it will be 100% Linux Compatible, since I'll probably be running
Linux on it 99.5% of the time. First of all, is a Pentium II 400 with a
Gigabyte BX motherboard alright? I remember hearing a long time ago that
Pentium II's were not completely compatible with Linux, but I think that's
not the case anymore. Also, I know that Xfree86 has really good support
for the Millenium II AGP (from what I can tell), but what about SVGALib?

Also, I'm planning to have this system custom-built by a company somewhere
in Austin, and I want it to be relatively cheap... I know that Chipsmart
has really good prices, but I've heard bad things about their service and
reliability. I found a store called Microchip Computers on the Internet,
and they have pretty good prices too... Does anybody know about their
service/reliability?

Thank you very much,
MZhang
