hey kids,
i wish someone would tell me when i'm stupid---the howto docs had a section
about adding this bletcherous bit to rc.local that was totally useless =)
took me actually setting stuff up to realize it tho...
anyway, the only real changes are that i now have the glibc patched version
referenced and available for download, and i took the useless section out.
please note:
if you are using redhat 5 w / their dhcpcd, you REALLY should upgrade. the
version they include has known probs w/resnet that only appear sometimes.
but ask toddg@cs, it sucks when they do. (he got kicked off resnet tempor-
arily)
