Yeah, perhaps.

Here's what it said:

assigned IP address:        208.24.56.1
assigned subnetmask:        255.255.255.0
ioctl SIOCADDRT (ifConfig): Invalid argument

Looks like it's dying while trying to configure the interface. Has 
anybody seen this kinda thing before?

For those of you playing along at home, it's dhcpcd 0.65 on LinuxPPC R4 
which is kernel 2.1.24.
