here is what the dmesg return after I try to boot the virtual machine
/dev/vmnet: open called by PID 362 (vmware)
/dev/vmnet: opening hub 0 (keep 0)
vmnet0: bridge eth0 set IFF_PROMISC
eth0: Setting promiscuous mode.
/dev/vmnet: port 9 on hub 0 successfully opened
/dev/vmnet: assigning IP-based address 1.
then it has some VFS disk change detected because of guest machine trying
to boot from floppy, then
/dev/vmnet: assigning IP-based address 1.
vmnet0: bridge eth0 clear IFF_PROMISC
