i have linux and i have swbells dsl. if they give you a dsl modem, i
assume you are going to be a dhcp client and always be on? then all you
have to do is set up your ethernet card to accept dhcp, plug the modem
into the network card and into you line and it works like a charm. if you
are going to get static ips there may be some configuring in the modem
that swb should tell you how to do..
