I haven't ever tried any of them but there are several programs on
freshmeat.net. I think all the service ever really buys you is a central
place for 'registering' so people can find you. But since both parties
will have IP addresses, the only thing thats really necessary is that one
of you find out what the other's IP address is and you can connect. THe
other person my need to be running Linux though, like I said, I haven't
checked any of them out.
