I got some problems about dialing telesys with ppp under linux.
I used kernel 2.2.16 and ppp-2.3.11. I downloaded the linux-ppp-experience
by Chris McCraw from SIGLinux website and did some necessary changes.
Now after I started ppp with the shell "./ppp", the following messages
appeared:
Serial connection established
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS14
Sent [LCP ConfReq ......
./ppp: line 23: 1209 Segmentation fault /usr/sbin/pppd connect ...
/bin/stty: standard input; Device not configured
Then the machine went down.
I think the connection was successful, but somewhere pppd failed.
