FWIW, another vote saying that, yeah, `SIGLinux' is snappy, but it's reasonable to say that name doesn't tell the whole story. A name change doesn't sound disasterous.
Put another way, silly as it seems, RMS has a point. Put another way, all you CS people would do good to remember the origins of this here world. Granted, I'm sure there are many here against the name change and perhaps RMS who read `Hackers' when they were, oh, in junior high, and have studied some of the lore of the era of Darkness, and are you are entitled to your informed opinion, but perhaps some of y'all might find history to be surprising.
