Did anybody read the Slashdot/NY Times article about Microsoft in
Mexico? At the end, they quote from Gary Chapman, "who directs an
open-source initiative at the University of Texas."

WRT open source and Linux, I thought I kept my ear to the ground
relatively well. What is this UT OSI project? Google doesn't find
anything very prominent. All I see is a page Chapman wrote about
news sites to follow. The page says that he is in the LBJ school of
public affairs.  WTF?

Considering the degree to which UT is a Microsoft campus, this sounds
like a great project. But is it just some sort of reporting error?

Cheers.
