hmm. i have this problem too with cable through a (pc box) router (both
linux-2.4 and openbsd-3.0). for what its worth, someone on a (competent)
irc channel mentioned that this problem left them when they impelemented
fair queueing (or something that sounds similar) on their router box.
since i havent played with bsd kernels, i have yet to try this out. but
if i ever get around to it (might go back to linux on the router soon
anyway), ill fire off some info to the list
