The set up for Mandrake 8.2 was fairly simple and as you stated it pretty much was exactly like setting up a Windows machine. I guess my problem lies in the fact that at the Install Fest we had so many problems getting my ethernet card to work. I think it had something to do with DCHP but don't really remember. And I guess that's the reason I want to know if, with 9.0, if I'll have those same problems I had with 8.2 getting my ethernet card to work.
