Right, I did that today in VirtualBox, and was able to reproduce the
problem with my USB hub power-on test case. However, device enumeration
is still done by Linux, so this wasn't yet conclusive.

So I installed the software on an actual Windows machine and was able
to reproduce the issue there, too. Which means I was wrong to think
that many people must have complained about this by now. :) It has
certainly come up often in reports by sigrok users.

Of course, it would still be possible that the sporadic problems on USB
hotplugging are rarer on Windows, and that only my hub power test case
makes it 100% reproducible.

Anyway, I'm now in contact with the manufacturer about this.
