Hi,
Anything new on this front? :)
I was wondering if is somehow possible to use omega with sigma
firmware/drivers - I don't need all the functionality from omega, sigma
would be just fine in the meantime.

For the record: I soon will have access to both Sigma2 and Omega
hardware, have asked Ondřej for documentation, and thus will be
available for tests, reviews, and source contributions, if you
would like me to.
Ondřej signalled the availability of documentation, but added
that much of it currently is still in Czech, and translation to
English would very much benefit from knowing which parts are most
pressing or most interesting for contributors. :)
@jry: For this reason, and to not duplicate work, I'm asking:
Can I do something specific to help you? Like doing "boring"
stuff? Cleanup? Refactoring of Sigma support such that adding
Omega support or handling differing features of models becomes
easier? Look into specific hardware related topics? Do version
control related tedious work? If there is somethat that you
would like me to do, just say so.
Nevermind, I'm not pushing, just asking if and how I can help. :)
BTW: I might have spotted an issue in the current implementation
of the Sigma firmware download (the timing of the DIN and CCLK
signals, potentially violating setup times). When feedback
arrives, I might either provide a fix if the issue is real, or at
least an improvement of the related code if it's a non-issue.
virtually yours
