This should not be necessary, but I think there was a bug a while ago
which might have caused this behavior. That bug has been fixed a while ago.
Please retry the latest nightly AppImage, it should work out of the box:

 - Attach device
 - Run ./PulseView-NIGHTLY-x86_64.AppImage
 - It should automatically find the "CWAV USBee AX" (or such) device
   and it'll be in the device drop-down.
