I've often wondered about this.

One way to tackle it would be to sample a fast-changing signal with a probe
from both analysers, then align that channel to be the same in both.

This would probably allow a crude synchronisation but I have no idea how
well interpolation for other edges, and adjustment for differential clock
tick would work. Ideally you'd use a single fast clock that is
significantly faster than anything in the target but that would be
expensive.
