I found it hard to get things done in this project. About a year ago I
did some development using this tool. I did find the chat was the only
successful way to get communications and pull requests happening. This
email path was a no go for me too. I recommend jumping on the chat,
listen for a while, and reach out to the developers there. There are a
few active ones around, and one of the developers did help me get some
code pulled into the main. But it was a hard slog.
