Exactly. I usually tell people that I am meeting for the first time,
exactly how much time we have together. How they use that time tells me a
lot about them, and whether they get a second time slot. All this probably
sounds extremely snooty, but I think time is the only real currency we have
and money is a derivative of time + skill + inclination. While money comes
and goes, time only goes. Therefore it is extremely important to use it
well.

Same here. I gave up on TV but I prefer to read my news calmly through
newspapers. I find myself enjoying long form interviews and podcasts. This
insightful interview of Julia Iofee on Ukraine, Russia and Vladimir Putin
is a case in point.
