I intentionally restrict my exposure to announcements about poetry because
I'm prioritizing my own writing else it won't happen. Also, I will be too
tempted to respond. So I keep that for the weekend.

I also limit my exposure to political commentary these days to maintain a
sense of hope and direction. I will raise my voice but will choose to be
silent when I have nothing original to add.
