I for one am not comfortable with the rationalization that terrorism is a small but somehow acceptable way of dying, or that it is OK for people to be killed by terrorists because their lives are cheap compared to someone else.
I don't think it is anyone's case to condone terrorist killings - we are merely irked at the disproportionate response to the threat.
It appears that we are inevitably fighting intent rather than the outcome. Are terrorists somehow worser people than corrupt road contractors who cause just as many deaths?
