Not unusual at all.... i have had conversation on such subject matter with a whole cross section of women from different backgrounds : secretaries, waitresses, nuns, colleagues, prostitutues, entrepeneurs, teachers...from different age groups, from both african and (slightly less so) european countries. Never (okay... there may have been an exception or two...) with a woman of south asian origins....
