In Pakistan - where Wordpress and Blogger find themselves blocked on and off - mail to blogger is used - but it isn't successful. For starters - mailtoblogger function frequently breaks. Secondly, adding pictures is that much more tough. After Orkut's stand about helping Mumbai Police with IP addresses - I don't trust Gmail that much either. Here's a very quick look at Anon blogging - http://www.globalvoicesonline.org/?p=125
That said, One interesting document is the RSF's handbook for Bloggers and Cyber-Dissidents. (Link - *http://tinyurl.com/yuggg9) *Truth is, to beat censorship - you have to get a little tech friendly. There really is no other way around it. But I've found that the RSF guidebook is decent. I did a little blogging workshop in Prague - and one of the sections was on anon blogging - especially for participants from Central Asia - and I've seen that the slightly tech-embracing people find it easier to find their own ways to circumvent safely. How does it work? Does it use DynDNS or similiar to create persistent names for dynamic IP hosts? -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFF/TL3dbAkQ4sp9r4RAjhAAKC3Z4o4tlbeZHwEENfM3hfmgYSjfQCfXZO6 KgZUMd8gNx5sC+uvOle54u0= =q/E6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
