It depends. It should be used as input into their collaborative and/or
bayesian filter sets. This will mean that any other messages similar
to it will be more likely to also be marked as spam. Depending on how
they implement things, "similar" may take into account things like the
sender, the sender's domain, the sender's ip address, servers the mail
went through, as well as more obvious things like words in the subject
and body text.
