hehe. what annoyed me about "300" was the continuous reference to freedom, fighting tyranny, defending against irrational mysticism and defending reason, when the (movie) spartans killed their old and young and weak, and didn't go to battle because of some mystical weirdo cult. i think there was some truth in the (otherwise ridiculous) iranian govt complaint that the movie was made to encourage a "clash of civilizations" -style war on iran. the drama and shooting were cool, though. and i discovered that unlike european airlines, JAL doesn't censor movies, at least in the front cabin. -rishab
