Sorry to go off on a tangent - but this has been bugging me for some time. I have see talk of "organized religion" and "animism" and have been part of discussions that try to define the nature of "Hinduism" and whether such an entity exists at all and whether it is an organized religion. When I look at definitions of animism, and compare that with what I have been taught as a Hindu, the only conclusion I can reach is that Hinduism is animism - perhaps organized animism. Does that make it religion? shiv
