I've immediately stopped using the mouse the moment I had the slightest
cramping/pain in my hand, which was about 1994, when I started using
a computer extensively. Never had any RSI otherwise, even when learning
to type on a mechanical typewriter (ugh).

That's the first thing I did, as well. Now I have a 6DOF device on the left,
which I still hope to put to good use one day simultaneously with the rodent.
One of the reason why I don't like Second Life & Co is because the navigation
sucks UHV.

Interesting.

I like them corded, since all wireless mice I've seen so far are too slow
both on the link and on the sensor, the extra batteries makes the rodent
heavy, and I don't like making it too easy for the government to track
whatever I do that I do on the computer. Hence, I prefer my keyboards
corded, too (as to timing SSH packets, I will soon get rid of that, too).

I'm considering making a habit of switching of my mobile, too. (No, I'm
not paranoid. My government is).

Apropos strange things that governments do, what's your take on the
forthcoming Iran attack?
