It really depends on what the priorities are. If time and space are at a premium then it makes sense to go with the Bose. Though keep in mind: 1. Is the DVD player region locked? 2. Does it do HDMI out (if you have a compatible display) and any sort of upconversion? (Even if HDTV's do some sort of rudimentary upconversion to 720p, I'd rather off-load that to the player as it would probably have the newest implementations.) There are a number of criticisms leveled at the Bose series from frequency range to accuracy to response. You could put together a 'better' system at the same price. At the end of the day, let your ears be your judge. But be aware that almost *all* demos are in carefully constructed rooms that are optimized for the system being shown. Take a look at the Yamaha YSP range or the Denon S series range. They both reduce the physical clutter associated with a 5.1 setup. I think they have dealers in India also.
