I did a project using civiCRM a while back, it does donor and pledge management pretty well, and has some level of CRM like functionality: http://civicrm.org/ however to my knowledge its pretty weak also on the inventory management front.... But its based on drupal (www.drupal.org), and installs as drupal module. Drupal has an inventory management product/module... i have no idea how difficult it is to integrate/customize the two functionalities.... > What we're now looking at doing is enabling online sales of our books. However Drupal has an online commerce module...which allows selling items in a an inventory, and integrates with various payment gateways.
