i don't want to turn silk into flyertalk, but... i'll renew platinum on skyteam by april this year too, and wonder what to do with the rest of the year, and probably consider star alliance and discover again that
skyteam doesnt have any reasonable asiapac coverage and especially not from madras so i will probably stick to star alliance, and let my skyteam miles lapse (or trade them in for a nice big award trip rather)
