This is what I meant by the term being devoid of value. I consider there
to be great benefit in following the Middle Path, but that doesn't make
me a Buddhist. I believe in the equality of all people, but that doesn't
make me Christian. If I can practice these, and be agnostic (which I am),
and still be called a Hindu, then the term Hinduism is so nebulous that
it fails to actually describe anything.

There was no such assumption, I was describing some of the core tenets
of Sikhism.
