i liked it, though as the article noted the dalit writer is perhaps optimistic. still, it's good to be optimistic and the basic premise is correct, that economic advancement and urbanisation is going to reduce caste barriers (and is probably the only effective way to do this). that's been the story of the breaking down of feudal class barriers in most places.
