Read the following oldies last year:
Thandira bhoomi - Indira Parthasarathy
Thiruvarangan Ulaa - Sri Venugopalan (Sujatha)
Padinettavadhu atchakkodu - Asokamitran
All of them are well worth reading.
My father gave me Jayamohan's "Vishnupuram" and recommended it highly - it is
sitting with the rest of the "to be read" books on my shelf. I would be very
happy if anyone can recommend
good contemporary writers/books in Tamizh .
