This is definitely one of the more puzzling posts I have read recently. But perhaps parts of it were droll, and demands being read with a smile on the lips. It need not extend to the eyes, of course.

The previous two stages to canonisation being beatification and declared heroic in virtue. While I agree that I am indeed heroic in virtue, I do hope that you have no contrary opinion. In other words, I hope you don't think that I am either a Buddhist monk (need I explicitly exclude nun?) or an Archdeacon. > > > Don't be stupid, it wasn't meant personally. As - was it Mercutio? - a Shakespearean hero put it, 'a hit, a palpable hit.' Since an explanation is obviously called for, I have acquired this unfortunate quirk over the centuries that I have lived, according to your description, of stopping when I was inclined to. I see now that this was all wrong. In future, unless suitably petitioned by Udhay and the old CiX crowd in penitential procession, bearing Chetan bound hand and foot and with an apple between his teeth in anticipation of the culinary proceedings to follow, I shall share my thoughts with the list in terse little bits of 1,500 words at a time, delivered at intervals of half an hour until asked to stop, or until death, whichever is later. > You should > go on explaining your stand like I did. Fair only. I noticed that, indeed I did. Most noticeably noticed. Several times, again and again, and again again. I agree that my one-liners and your words are confusing; it appears on cursory examination that my one-liners confuse you, but your words are superior and of greater import, since they confuse both of us. I look forward to such clearer posts of your as will explain your words. It will be my delight to read them as soon as you have been delivered of them. > > > Likewise, if you think my views suck, say so. I don't > feel personal about it. > No they don't suck. Did that final smiley signify that these were friendly remarks? I like to know if I am consuming friend or foe, or just personally-taken stuff. > Regards, > -- Bharat | http://twitter.com/shettyb > > Explore and discover exciting holidays and getaways with Yahoo!
