Let's face it, even at companies like Google in India most people are there for the paycheck and because they are smart, and not because they are passionate about computer science. You will see true Indian initiative in action outside of the workplace - try getting a gas connection, or approval from a government agency. That isn't as simple as it sounds and requires a lot of persistence, doggedness and patience. Indians display this time and time again because they are interested in the outcome. In the workplace most Indians couldn't care less what it is they do, as long as they get paid more and more and advance up the ladder. And this has nothing to do with liking what one does. Cheeni
