I do agree its easier if you have relocated a few times. However if you are in a multi-cultural relationship relocation back to your home country is that much more complicated. For kids, with the Indian education system the way it is... I doubt whether it will be easy for any expat kid to fit in quickly. I spent my childhood in India as an internal expat moving homes and schools every other year (not that my parents were on the run or something ... but my dad was in military service that generally means you have to live caravan style). The biggest stress for my folks was getting school admissions as sometimes we moved during the middle of the school year. Most of my childhood memories revolve around writing school entrance exams or packing things into boxes.
